Lore & Background
Jimmy passed the bar exam hoping to be hired at HHM, but Chuck secretly had Howard deny him the job. When Jimmy's elder-law work uncovers the Sandpiper retirement community defrauding seniors, Chuck suggests handing the growing class action to HHM; Jimmy receives a small of-counsel fee and a share of any future settlement but is blocked from taking part, and later learns that Chuck sabotaged his legal career out of resentment. Kevin Wachtell, chairman of Mesa Verde Bank and Trust, is a client of HHM and of Kim.
