Kublai Khan is an American metalcore band from Sherman, Texas. Formed in the summer of 2009, the group has released five studio albums and two EPs. They are known for a style reminiscent of early 1990s metallic hardcore, employing heavy, slow breakdowns and socially conscious lyrics.

Kublai Khan self-released their first EP, Youth War, in 2010. In February 2014, they signed to Artery Recordings and released their debut full-length album Balancing Survival and Happiness on April 29, 2014. The album was listed in Alternative Press's 'The Best Albums of 2014 So Far' list. Their second album New Strength followed on November 27, 2015. In July 2017, the band signed to Rise Records and released their third album Nomad on September 29, 2017. Their fourth album Absolute came out in 2019.
