Paradiso is the realm of angels in the Bayonetta games. The first game's settings borrow from Dante's Divine Comedy, and Paradiso, its heaven, usually appears as a golden valley or palace and is home to the angel enemies Bayonetta fights.
Lore & Background
With Inferno and Chaos it is one of the Trinity of Realities; the three realms were once one until First Armageddon split them. Its ruler is Jubileus the Creator, whom Balder tries to bring back to reunite the realms. The angels of Paradiso attack Bayonetta in Vigrid, and they led the witch hunt that left the Umbra Witches near extinction.
