The god of the human realm who made the Eyes of the World.
Aesir is a god in the Bayonetta games. The first game calls him the Overseer, the god of the human realm, who out of pity decided to give humans free will by handing the Eyes of the World, which hold his power, to the Lumen Sages and the Umbra Witches.
Lore & Background
In Bayonetta 2 Luka tells the Legend of Aesir: Aesir once ruled the Chaos realm and created the Left Eye of Darkness and the Right Eye of Light so that humanity would be free. Loptr later reveals that he and Loki were once Aesir, the God of Chaos, and he claims the Eyes as his own.
