Lore & Background
Tsireya belongs to the Metkayina clan, an oceanic people distinct from the forest-dwelling Omatikaya. Her parents are Tonowari and Ronal, the leaders of this clan. When Jake Sully's family seeks refuge in the eastern sea, Tsireya befriends Lo'ak, one of Jake's sons. She helps him navigate their new aquatic environment as they learn to adapt to Metkayina ways. Her relationship with Lo'ak develops through shared experiences and cultural exchange, bridging the gap between the forest Na'vi newcomers and the oceanic inhabitants.
Reader's Guide

When the whalers begin killing tulkun, she goes with Lo'ak and the other children to warn Payakan, is captured by Quaritch, and is rescued by Neteyam.
