Tuning Services
Dyno tuning requires the car to be present; once on the dyno, adjustments to air/fuel ratios, timing, cam angles, and other parameters are made in real time. These services are included in the standard tuning rate, which varies by car and tuning system.
Drag Racing
After a four-season hiatus, Evans Tuning returned to drag racing in 2011 with a 95 Acura Integra built for the True Street Class. Jeffrey Evans spent two years constructing the car. It debuted at the 4th Annual $10,000 Outlaw FWD Shootout during Fall Nationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ, driven by Brian Ballard. The car then crashed into a wall after crossing the finish line. The company stated on its Facebook page that it would compete in 2012, but it is unknown whether the car would be repaired. A new race car based on the Honda EK hatchback chassis was built for the 2012 season, debuting at World Cup Finals at Maryland International Raceway piloted by Andrea Evans, but issues prevented it from running. The Evans Tuning True Street Civic made its first 2013 appearance at Maryland International Raceway, again driven by Andrea Evans.
