League and FA Cup Doubles
Arsenal's league and FA Cup doubles: 1970–71 under Bertie Mee, 1997–98 and 2001–02 under Arsène Wenger.
A double means winning the top-flight league title and the FA Cup in the same season. Arsenal first did it in 1970–71, the first double by any club since Tottenham Hotspur's in 1961, and Arsène Wenger's teams added two more, in 1997–98 and 2001–02.

Lore & Background
The 1971 double was completed in one week: the league was clinched with a win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane on the Monday, and on the Saturday Arsenal beat Liverpool 2–1 after extra time in the FA Cup final, Charlie George scoring the winner. In 1998 Arsenal won the Premier League and, a fortnight later, beat Newcastle United 2–0 at Wembley; Wenger became the first foreign manager to win the double, and repeated it in 2002.
