Lore & Background

Arsenal are one of seven clubs to have won the Premier League since its inception in 1992, and one of six clubs to have played in every season to date.

In Their Own Story

The defining narrative of the season was the restoration of glory after two decades of waiting. Liverpool started as favorites, dominating early in August and September, but Arsenal's surge from October onward shifted the momentum permanently. The turning point came on 4 October when a double header saw Arsenal top the table while Liverpool slipped to third. Throughout the spring, the lead fluctuated, with Manchester City applying pressure by briefly overtaking Arsenal on goal difference in late April. However, Arsenal's resilience shone through as they won their next four games. The title was sealed not by a single dramatic final-day goal, but by the combination of results: City's draw at Bournemouth and Arsenal's 1–0 win over Burnley on 18 May. The celebration culminated on 24 May in London, where the team lifted the trophy following their 2–1 victory over Crystal Palace.
