Rhodes Island

The main faction in Arknights is Rhodes Island Pharmaceuticals Inc., also called Rhodes Island (R.I.).^[1] Though it functions legally as a drug company treating the Infected, its numerous Operators with combat training turn it into a paramilitary group.^[1] Rhodes Island is based on a landship of the same name and dedicates itself to developing treatments and a possible cure for Oripathy.^[2] Rhodes Island's de facto leader is Kal'tsit, head of the Medical Department, while Amiya serves as the figurehead leader.^[2][3]

Rhodes Island accepts all Infected patients and employees regardless of age, combat experience, or background.^[2] Rhodes Island's main source of funding is participation in the Contingency Contract program, with additional funds from patients and business partners.^[2] The group's power and assets came from Babel, a former Kazdel government-in-exile.^[2] An ID card is issued to each member, acting as proof of identity and allowing entry to the landship's systems.^[2]

The organization is not a charity or non-profit; those unable to pay for treatment usually work for R.I. or do volunteer tasks.^[2]
