Dr. Scratchansniff Therapy
The studio psychiatrist's attempts to make the Warners less zany.
Dr. Otto von Scratchansniff is the Warner Bros. studio psychiatrist in Animaniacs, and his sessions with the Warner siblings are his attempt to force them to be "less zany". In one episode he relates how he first met the Warners after their escape and tried to make them less zany with psychoanalysis.

He often loses patience with the Warner kids and has outbursts of frustration; in his first chronological interaction with them he pulls out his hair until he reaches his characteristic baldness. As the series goes on he grows fonder of them and takes more responsibility for them, occasionally acting as a father figure. The siblings annoy him on purpose but are also very fond of him.

When he fails to hypnotize the Warners into being less zany, he asks what they are, and they answer with a string of suggestions in song. In another segment he holds a group therapy session with the Warners and Elmyra Duff, whose behavior drives them crazy. Scratchansniff is voiced by Rob Paulsen.
