Cast

Paula Patton portrays Laura Price, a San Francisco news producer whose daughter Serena is abducted and murdered by a serial killer. After attempting suicide, Laura wakes up a week before Serena's death and teams up with ex-cop Nico Jackson to change her daughter's fate. Devon Sawa plays Nico Jackson, a former SFPD detective whose fiancée was murdered and whose brother was convicted and sentenced to death for the crime. After being fired from the police department and nearly killed, Nico experiences a similar reset and joins Laura.

JR Bourne appears as Thomas "Tom" Price, Laura's husband and the city's district attorney, who prosecuted Nico's brother and becomes concerned by Laura's behavior after her reset. Aria Birch plays Serena Price, Laura and Tom's daughter, who is abducted and drowned by the serial killer.

Catherine Barroll portrays Grace Jackson, Nico's mother, who believes her other son Danny is innocent and tries to prove it before his execution. Camille Mitchell plays Esperanza, Laura's mother and Serena's grandmother, who resides in a psychiatric facility. Samantha Ferris appears as Capt. Kendra Sarneau, Nico's former boss at the SFPD.

Development

ABC announced a straight-to-series order of 10 episodes for an American remake of the Korean series God's Gift: 14 Days on February 16, 2016. Stephen Tolkin wrote the series and served as executive producer. Paula Patton was cast as the lead on January 26, 2017, with Devon Sawa joining as the male lead on February 21, 2017, and JR Bourne cast two days later. Production began in Vancouver, British Columbia on March 7, 2017.
