The Seven Wonders is the test that decides who will be the next Supreme in American Horror Story: Coven. In the season finale the young witches Zoe, Madison, Queenie and Misty take it at Miss Robichaux's Academy.
Lore & Background
All four pass the trials of telekinesis and mind control. In descensum, where they must send their spirits to hell and return before sunrise, Misty Day's spirit is trapped and her body turns to ashes. Zoe accidentally kills herself during the trial of transmutation, and Queenie fails to revive her. Madison passes the next trial by reviving a dead fly but refuses to revive Zoe, and she later fails at divination.
Reader's Guide
Myrtle Snow then convinces Cordelia to attempt the Wonders herself. Cordelia passes all seven, bringing Zoe back to life as the last, and is crowned the new Supreme. The test returns in Apocalypse, where Michael Langdon passes six of the Seven Wonders and the witch Mallory passes them after resurrecting John Henry.
