Lore & Background

Her death comes at the hands of Monsignor Timothy Howard, who pushes her off the third floor; the Angel of Death takes both her life and her possession. Dr. Arden then kills himself in the fire that cremates her body.
Character Origins and Narrative Role
Sister Mary Eunice McKee serves as a pivotal figure within the fictional Briarcliff Manor, a mental institution set in 1964. Portrayed by Lily Rabe, this character is introduced as the innocent and fiercely loyal second-in-command to the sadistic Sister Jude Martin. Her presence highlights the tragic consequences of blind obedience within a system designed to control the unloved and unwanted.
