All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series is an American animated sitcom that aired from 1996 to 1999, following the 1989 film and its 1996 sequel. The series features Charlie B. Barkin, a disreputable mongrel who becomes a guardian angel in San Francisco. Most voice actors from the films reprised their roles, with Steven Weber taking over the speaking and singing voice of Charlie.

Plot
After the events of All Dogs Go to Heaven 2, Charlie and Itchy live in San Francisco as guardian angels. Annabelle assigns them tasks each episode, and they try to do right but often end up in awkward situations. Recurring characters include Carface and Killer from the first film, along with Sasha, Annabelle, David, and new characters Bess, Lance, and Belladonna.
Home media
In the 1990s, several VHS compilations with two episodes each were released. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment issued two volumes in 2006, each containing four episodes. The entire series is available for digital download on iTunes and became available on YouTube in Spring 2011 through MGM Digital Media. TGG Direct released a 7-disc complete series DVD set in December 2013, including all 40 episodes and An All Dogs Christmas Carol.
