Production

In May 2019, Sara Shepard was brought on to produce the series for Brat, with a cast that included Francesca Capaldi, Emily Skinner, Kyla-Drew, Ollie Walters, Glory Curda, and Lucas Stadvec. Lilia Buckingham took on her first producing role and also narrated. The show's debut episode aired on June 20, 2019. Season 2 got a teaser and trailer in November 2019, premiering on December 5, 2019. Brat used Twitter to suggest a third season was being planned, but it was paused because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
