When Taylor tries to surrender to the PRT and Protectorate on her own terms, Alexandria tries to force harsher demands on her by appearing to execute Undersiders one by one. Taylor kills her and others in a blind rage, and later learns that Alexandria had tricked her into believing her friends were dying. Alexandria is then publicly framed as a villain whose death had been necessary.
