Scion
The golden man whose arrival began the age of parahumans, and whose rampage ended it.
Scion is a naked, golden man whose appearance over the ocean in 1982 marks the point where Earth Bet's history splits from our own. After his arrival, a fraction of humans begin to gain superpowers when placed in traumatic situations, and he comes to be seen as the most powerful superhero of all.
Lore & Background
Scion is revealed to be the avatar of an immensely powerful alien entity called the Warrior. The Warrior seeded the planet with superpowers as part of his species' reproductive cycle, a cycle that would end with the destruction of the planet and all of its alternate-dimension counterparts.
