Grace Walker is a passionate, scarred Black Power activist and resistance fighter who joins the fight against the Nazi regime in an alternate 1961. She operates out of a hidden resistance hideout in the subway tunnels beneath Manhattan, following the city's destruction by a Nazi atomic bomb. William "B.J." Blazkowicz travels to this location to recruit her and Norman "Super Spesh" Caldwell together in the same mission. Together with the Kreisau Circle, they formulate a critical plan to cripple American Nazi leadership by targeting the Oberkommando in Roswell, New Mexico.

Lore & Background

Grace Walker emerges as a key figure within the resistance movement following Blazkowicz's revival. She is a passionate, scarred African-American Black Power activist who has been hiding with other resistance members in the subway tunnels beneath Manhattan. These tunnels lie amid the ruins of Manhattan, which was destroyed by a Nazi atomic bomb prior to the events of the game. Her recruitment by Blazkowicz marks a turning point for the Kreisau Circle's strategy in the United States.

Her primary contribution involves outlining a specific tactical objective: to destroy the Oberkommando in Roswell, New Mexico. This mission is intended to cripple Nazi leadership across the U.S. The plan relies on a Da'at Yichud cache near Roswell, which the Nazis have not yet been exploiting, serving as a focal point for their operations. Blazkowicz carries a portable nuclear warhead into the Roswell Oberkommando through a tunnel from Super Spesh's bunker, leaves it in the base's reactor and detonates it after escaping Roswell.

Reader's Guide

To engage with Grace Walker's storyline, players must first progress through the prologue and the rescue mission involving Caroline. Once Blazkowicz is revived, he must travel to New York City. The critical objective here is locating the resistance cell in the ruins of Manhattan, specifically within the Empire State Building. Players will find Grace Walker and Norman "Super Spesh" Caldwell at this location.

After recruiting them, the next major step is the Roswell mission. Players are tasked with traveling to New Mexico to destroy the Oberkommando. This requires carrying a portable nuclear warhead to the site near an unearthed Da'at Yichud cache. The gameplay involves navigating Super Spesh's bunker and the tunnels leading into the base, culminating in planting the bomb and escaping before detonation.

Players should focus on the stealth and confrontation tactics available to Blazkowicz, such as using the Constrictor Harness or dual-wielding weapons, to survive these missions.
