Adolf Hitler
The Fuhrer himself: a chain-gun boss in 1992, a film producer on Venus in 1961.
Adolf Hitler appears in the Wolfenstein games as the head of the Nazi regime that B.J. Blazkowicz fights. In Beyond Castle Wolfenstein (1984) the player moves through a secret Berlin bunker where Hitler is meeting his senior staff, plants a hidden bomb outside the meeting room and escapes before it explodes. In Wolfenstein 3D (1992) the third episode, "Die, Fuhrer, Die!", sends Blazkowicz into a bunker beneath the Reichstag for a final battle against Hitler in a robotic suit fitted with four chain guns; the 2009 comic adaptation recreates that fight.
In Return to Castle Wolfenstein (2001) he is not fought: after the SS Paranormal Division is defeated, Reichsfuhrer-SS Heinrich Himmler leaves for Berlin to face an expectant Hitler. In MachineGames' alternate history he is still alive in 1961. In Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (2017) Blazkowicz, posing as an actor, is invited to a Nazi facility on Venus to audition for a propaganda film about himself that Hitler (voiced by Norbert Weisser) is producing, while he is really there to steal the deactivation codes for the Ausmerzer's automated defences.
