New Order Defeat Ending Branch

Early in Wolfenstein: The New Order (2014), during the 1946 assault on Deathshead's compound, the player must choose which of two comrades survives: Scottish pilot Fergus Reid (Gideon Emery) or U.S. Army Private Probst Wyatt III (A.J. Trauth). The one spared escapes the compound, is rescued by Blazkowicz from Eisenwald Prison fourteen years later, and stands in for the other through the rest of the story, so the two timelines differ in characters, cutscenes and small plot points. The choice is made again at the start of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (2017): Fergus's timeline gives access to the LaserKraftWerk, an energy weapon that disintegrates enemies and obstacles, while Wyatt's gives the DieselKraftWerk, which works like a grenade launcher.
