A German cartoon series based on Karl May's Winnetou.
WinneToons is a 26-part German cartoon series loosely based on characters from the novel Winnetou 1st part by Karl May. The first episode aired on March 30, 2002, on ARD, with subsequent repeats on KiKA. The series presents child-friendly adventure stories set between the blood brotherhood of Winnetou and Old Shatterhand and the murder of Winnetou's father and sister.
