Hunk Garrett
The group's strong-man. Pilots the Yellow Lion.
Hunk Garrett (Tsuyoshi Seidou 青銅強) pilots the Yellow Lion, which becomes Voltron's lower left leg. He's the group's strong-man, and if his friends are always teasing him about his appetite, you can't really blame them — the man is never late for a meal. That said, most of his bulk is actual muscle. Beneath the tough, temperamental exterior, Hunk goes soft around children and puppies in a way that plays hard against his bad temper. In the original series he wears an orange uniform; in Voltron: The Third Dimension it swaps to metallic yellow. In the episode "Consider the Alternatives," an alternate-universe Hunk turns out to be a super genius. Over in the Devil's Due comic series, he's a Japanese-American man named Tsuyoshi "Hunk" Garrett with a Master's in engineering.

What is Hunk Garrett's personality like?
He is the group's tough, short-tempered strongman, yet he has a surprisingly gentle side around children and puppies. His friends constantly joke about his enormous appetite, though most of that bulk is pure muscle, and he is famously never late to a meal.
How does Hunk Garrett's uniform differ between Voltron versions?
