No Man's Land (video game)
A 2003 real-time strategy game set in the New World.
No Man's Land (also released as No Man's Land: Fight for your Rights!) is a real-time strategy game for Windows, released in 2003. It was developed by Related Designs and published by CDV Software. The game became available on Steam on July 19, 2025.
Set in the New World, players can choose from six factions: the English, Spaniards, American Patriots, American Settlers, Woodland Native Americans, and Prairie Native Americans. Each faction has its own strengths, weaknesses, and heroes.
The single-player mode includes three campaigns. The first, "The Conquest of a New World," puts players in command of the Spaniards, led by Capitan Esteban Carvinez, as they fight the English and native tribes. The second campaign, "The Fight against The Intruders," casts players as the natives opposing European settlers. Its first half follows Magua and the Iroquois against the English; the second half jumps ahead in time, with Grass Wing of the Cheyenne battling American Settlers and their Crow allies. The third campaign, "The birth of a nation," follows the Sanders family across three eras. The first part features Jeremiah Sanders during English colonization, as pilgrims fight Spanish forces and natives, eventually clashing with fanatical Pilgrims led by his former friend Aaron Harper. The second part follows Samuel Sanders in the American Revolutionary War, leading American forces against the British and seeking help from Magua. The third part centers on William "Billy" Sanders, who competes to build a railroad before his rival Henry Starr, while dealing with Starr’s forces and hostile natives.
Reviews for the game were mixed to positive. On Metacritic, it has a score of 70 out of 100 from twelve reviews. On GameRankings, it holds a score of 65.86% based on fourteen reviews.
