Nottingham Forest
Back-to-back European Cup winners under Brian Clough, in 1979 and 1980.
Nottingham Forest is an English club that has won the European Cup twice, making it one of six English clubs to have won the competition, and the only team in Europe to have won it more often than its domestic league (once).
Lore & Background
Forest's greatest period came under Brian Clough and Peter Taylor in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In the 1978-79 European Cup they were drawn against Liverpool, winners of the previous two editions, and went on to take the trophy in 1979 and to retain it in 1980.
