Nico
The chief bishop of Dema, and another name for Blurryface.
Nico is the chief of the nine bishops who rule Dema, the fictional city in the Trench storyline of Twenty One Pilots. His full name is Nicolas Bourbaki, taken from the collective pseudonym of a group of mainly French mathematicians. Tyler Joseph revealed him to be Blurryface, the personification of his insecurities from the 2015 album of that name.
Lore & Background
Nico is the title character of the song "Nico and the Niners", which is about resisting the bishops, and his identity is revealed in the Trench track "Morph". In the "Heavydirtysoul" video he drives the out-of-control car in which Tyler Joseph is a passenger. In the "Paladin Strait" video he confronts Clancy in the tower where the bishops reside. In "City Walls" he fatally impales Clancy with his sharpened antlers before Clancy merges their souls into one.
