Ray Velcoro

Ray Velcoro is a central figure in the second season of the anthology series, serving as a detective from the Vinci Police Department. He is portrayed by Colin Farrell. Velcoro is described as a corrupt detective who is called to assist in the investigation of the murder of corrupt city manager Ben Caspere, whose body is discovered by California Highway Patrol officer Paul Woodrugh on the side of a highway in California. His story intertwines with officers from two other cooperating police departments: Ventura County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division Sergeant Antigone "Ani" Bezzerides and Officer Paul Woodrugh.
