Lore & Background
The series is set on the fictional island of Griffin Rock off the coast of Maine. The Rescue Bots—Heatwave, Boulder, Blades, and Chase—respond to Optimus Prime's message for active Autobots to come to Earth. Coming out of long stasis, they learn of Cybertron's fate and are partnered with the Burns family, a group of first-response rescuers. Together they deal with various disasters while learning about Earth's cultures.
