Background

In the 1974 film Kirk and Pam find it surrounded by run-down cars and run by gas-powered generators; inside are a room of furniture made from human and animal bones, the chest freezer where Pam is put, and the ancient Grandpa and Grandma's corpse. Sally escapes it by jumping through a second-floor window, and is later brought back there for the family's dinner. In Texas Chainsaw 3D the people of Newt burn the farmhouse down in 1973. Leatherface (2017) shows the ranch in 1955 as a poor pig farm.
