Reader's Guide

King is an ancient dragon who serves as one of the three world guardians, representing raw power and nature. His arc centers on his transition from a distant protector to a deeply involved father figure for the protagonist, Alfie.

He possesses immense physical strength, magical resilience, and the unique ability to shapeshift into human form. This allows him to live among humans and teach Alfie essential survival skills without overwhelming him with his true draconic presence.

His defining moments include discovering the orphaned Alfie on a mountain and raising him alongside Priest and Knight. King's teachings emphasize compassion over brute force, shaping Alfie into the kind-hearted paladin he becomes.
