Background
In the show, fairy dust is what granting a wish leaves behind, and the Turners' basement has a Fairy Dust Containment Unit to hold it. Timmy wakes to find everything in his room floating because the unit, which he never emptied in years, has overflowed. Using more magic could make it explode and destroy the house, so the dust has to be cleared with the 'fairy dust begonerator'. When his parents get dusted on their anniversary, Jorgen, posing as a man named Dave, takes them to the Dust Un-Magic Place (the D.U.M.P.) disguised as a free luxury spa trip. Dust-contaminated objects then trap Timmy and the fairies, and Sparky has to beat his fear of vacuum cleaners to win back Cosmo's and Wanda's wands.
