Movies, Games and Videos

Reviews of movies, games, and videos for ITV.

Movies, Games and Videos (originally titled Movies, Movies, Movies) was a British television programme that reviewed new film, game, and video releases. Produced by Capricorn Programmes for LWT and later other ITV contractors, it was syndicated internationally with local broadcasters able to re-voice the content. The show covered new game systems, video game creators, and industry conventions, and a short-lived spin-off magazine was produced.

Scheduling

The programme was not networked in a fixed timeslot but initially aired in all ITV regions, typically on Saturday lunchtimes at varying times such as 12:30, 13:45, or 15:10. Scheduling later diverged by region, with some continuing Saturday afternoon broadcasts and others moving it to a weekday 17:10 slot after CITV. By spring 1998, only Anglia, Central, HTV, Grampian, Meridian, Scottish, UTV, and Westcountry still carried it until August 2001. From 2002 to February 2005, only UTV in Northern Ireland screened the series, and it also appeared on local stations such as TV12 on the Isle of Wight.
