Twinkle, the Dream Being
A little yellow genie grants wishes in the Land of Possibility.
Twinkle, the Dream Being is an American animated series that aired from 1992 to 1993, broadcast in syndication across the U.S. and on South Korea's MBC TV as part of the Daejeon Expo 1993. The production was a collaboration between Zodiac Entertainment, Sei Young Anitel, Calico Entertainment, and MBC. A single season of 26 episodes was made.
The show follows a small, yellow wish-granting genie named Twinkle, who brings the desires of the Land of Possibility's inhabitants to life. His main opponent is Miss Diva Weed, a wicked witch who feeds on people's despair and aims to enslave the land. Twinkle is joined by his friends Nova, a small blue star creature who lives on his head and acts as his pilot, and Wishball, a blue ball creature who helps him fly. Together, they show others that with a little magic, anything is possible. Most problems stem from Diva Weed and her bumbling minions, the Hotshots—Won, who is serious about defeating Twinkle but can easily befriend him, and Chu, who is less serious and clumsy. Another character is Urg, a giant rock monster with a large appetite who frightens others by his appearance but is actually friendly.
