Once freed, Iblis is driven by a burning desire for vengeance against Ka-young, whom he blames for his unintentional captivity. He has spent centuries searching for her soul across reincarnations. Cast & Character Ensemble

Kim Woo-bin leads as Genie, also called Iblis, the lamp spirit who stirs to life after a millennium of confinement. Bae Suzy portrays Ki Ka-young, a character described as heartless and devoid of emotion, with Kim Yun-seul and Jeon Yu-na stepping in for her childhood and teenage years. Ahn Eun-jin plays Lee Mi-joo, Ka-young's grandmother who reclaims her youth through a granted wish. Noh Sang-hyun appears as Ryu Su-hyeon, known also as Eljjael, the genie's brother and rival. Principal photography wrapped on October 24, 2024, with select scenes captured on location in Dubai during February of that year.
