Premise
Punky Brewster, now a divorced mom, has three kids: her biological daughter Hannah and two adopted sons, Diego and Daniel. She still lives in her childhood Chicago apartment and works as a photographer, just like her foster father Henry. At Fenster Hall, she meets Izzy, a girl abandoned by her mother, just like Punky was. Punky’s best friend Cherie works at Fenster and arranges a foster home for Izzy, but Punky sees herself in the girl and decides to raise Izzy alongside her own children. Punky also has an on-again, off-again relationship with her ex-husband Travis and learns her long-lost mother is alive and has been searching for her.
