Production
Tony Grounds described the series' premise as examining a family so perfect in the eyes of its patriarch that it is falling apart unnoticed. Greg Brenman, Head of Drama at Tiger Aspect, noted that the Brookers appear ordinary and close-knit but reveal cracks upon closer inspection.
