Broken Badges
Three troubled cops form an unconventional crime fighting team.
Broken Badges, a police procedural drama co-created by Stephen J. Cannell, aired on CBS in two short runs: late 1990 and mid-1991. The show centered on a team of misfit crime fighters. Three police officers on psychiatric leave—a danger addict, a man with a violent temper about his height, and a kleptomaniac—joined forces with a former New Orleans cop and a police psychiatrist. Miguel Ferrer, Eileen Davidson, Jay Johnson, Ernie Hudson, and Charlotte Lewis starred. The series struggled in the ratings and was quietly canceled.
