The New Adventures of He-Man

He-Man defends Primus from mutants and Skeletor.

The New Adventures of He-Man is an animated series that began syndication in the second half of 1990, following early clearances on select independent stations in December 1989. It was intended as a continuation of the Filmation series but introduced a new central story after the closure of Filmation's studio. This series is notable as the final entry in the original Masters of the Universe continuity and the first to feature a Canadian voice cast.

Minicomics

In the mini-comics packaged with the toys, Prince Adam and Skeletor travel to Primus, where Adam transforms into He-Man in front of Skeletor, revealing his secret identity and permanently remaining as He-Man. The transformation explosion damages Skeletor, forcing him to become a cyborg to survive. In the comics, Skeletor does not fake allegiance to Flogg but instead defeats him and takes full command of the Evil Mutants. The transformation sequence was retained from the original series, though the line changed to "By the power of Eternia...I have the power!"
