Level 5 - Flight Deck
Citadel's shuttle bays, where the survivors waited and where the Hacker's escape pod will not launch.
Level 5 - Flight Deck of Citadel Station in System Shock (1994) launches, receives and houses the shuttle craft that regularly do business with TriOptimum on Earth. Its enormous flight bays are sealed off by transparent environmental integrity screens that, as the station rotates, give views of the solar system and open space beyond.

Background
Mostly dark blue and white, with several sections repaired in gray paneling, it is where the Hacker first goes to meet Anna Parovski and the other survivors, who had seen him on the security monitors, and destroys a Cortex Reaver; its computer node yields a piece of the reactor self-destruct code. The MARK III Assault Rifle and the ER-90 Laser Blaster are first found here. On the second visit, with the reactor set to self-destruct, the Hacker tries to leave in an escape pod with the code Rebecca Lansing gives, and Edward Diego's cyborg appears near the life pods. Diego kept offices on this level and the Executive level.
