Knights of the Blood Oath

Lore & Background

Kirito, who had avoided every guild since the Moonlit Black Cats died, is eventually forced to join it. Kuradeel, a two-handed-sword user assigned as Asuna's bodyguard, turns out to be an unaccounted member of the murder guild Laughing Coffin who had infiltrated the Knights; he challenges Kirito to a duel over Asuna and loses.
