In Their Own Story
The floodlights hummed over the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium as David Warner adjusted his gloves, the orange jersey feeling heavier with expectation than usual. It was late April 2015, the playoffs were on the horizon, and the team needed a statement. He walked out to face a hostile new-ball attack, the crowd's roar already building in anticipation of the inevitable assault. Within minutes, Warner had dismantled the bowler's line with a ruthless square cut that raced past the sliding fielder. Every boundary felt like a declaration of war, every single calculated for the next big hit. By the time he reached his century, the scoreboard was not just ticking; it was screaming. The Orange Army knew then that history was being written in real-time.
