Warp Pads
The crystal platforms Gems use to travel across Earth in a beam of light.
Warp pads are the teleporters the Gems build and use to move between places in Steven Universe. The Crystal Gems are already using one in the pilot, and the device makes its official debut in the first episode, "Gem Glow". Each pad is a teal crystal platform shaped like the upper half of a cut diamond.

Background
When a pad is switched on it throws up a column of bright light, the warp stream, and carries everyone standing on it to the chosen destination. The trip is not instant: travellers ride the stream through warp space for a short time, and an ordinary pad on Earth only connects to other pads on Earth. Gems, including Steven, can start a warp themselves, and so can Gem machines such as Peridot's Robonoids, while humans can use a warp whistle. A heavy enough blow puts a pad out of action, as Sugilite does to the Communication Hub pad in "Coach Steven", but broken pads can be repaired: in "Warp Tour" Peridot's robonoids fix both the Homeworld warp and the Crystal Temple warp.
