Pearl's Spear
A spear of light, summoned from a gem of service and strength.
via Wikipedia: Pearl (Steven Universe) · see source
Pearl's spear is the signature weapon she summons from the gemstone in her forehead. As a Gem, Pearl's body is a holographic projection around her gemstone, and her weapon is a physical manifestation of her being. The spear is a slender, pointed polearm that reflects her graceful, precise fighting style. She is described as a "formidable swordfighter" and can also summon a spear, which she uses in combat alongside her agility and laser focus. The weapon is an extension of her identity as a Crystal Gem, a group that protects humanity and Earth.

Lore & Background
Pearl's spear is not a crafted tool but a direct projection of her gemstone, the source of her entire being. In Gem culture, Pearls are "made-to-order servants" meant for "standing around and looking nice and holding your stuff," yet Pearl learned to fight and became a formidable swordfighter. The weapon is tied to her deep-seated issues with self-worth and her devotion to Rose Quartz, the former leader of the Crystal Gems. The fifth-season episode "A Single Pale Rose" reveals that Pearl was originally the servant of Pink Diamond, who later became Rose Quartz. Rose encouraged Pearl's independence, but Pearl never lost her devotion, which included romantic attraction.
Reader's Guide
To use Pearl's spear effectively, remember these key points: 1) Summoning: The spear is drawn directly from the gemstone on Pearl's forehead. The spear is best used for quick thrusts, spins, and throws. She can also use it to parry and deflect attacks. 3) Limitations: The spear is tied to Pearl's physical form. If she is poofed (her holographic body is destroyed), the spear vanishes. It cannot be used by other characters. Her low self-esteem and inferiority complex, stemming from her origin as a servant, can affect her combat performance. However, her dedication to protecting Steven and Earth makes her a formidable opponent. 5) Notable Use: In the episode "A Single Pale Rose," the spear is present during the revelation of Pearl's past with Pink Diamond, linking the weapon directly to her history and emotional trauma.
