Salmonids are the enemies fought in Salmon Run, the co-op mode of Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3, in which players employed by Grizzco Industries team up in fours to fight waves of them and collect Golden Eggs from Boss Salmonids.

Background
In Splatoon 3's Salmon Run Next Wave, a shift usually lasts three waves, with an occasional fourth Xtrawave against a King Salmonid such as Cohozuna. In Big Run events, Salmonids invade Splatsville itself. In the campaign, Agent 3's companion Smallfry is a Salmonid who eats away the Fuzzy Ooze.
