55 Cancri e

55 Cancri e, named Janssen, is one of the planets orbiting 55 Cancri A, the K-type primary of the binary star 55 Cancri, about 41 light-years from the Sun in Cancer. The primary star is also named Copernicus.

As of 2025, four confirmed planets (Ab, Ac, Ae and Af, named Galileo, Brahe, Janssen and Harriot) and two candidates are known around 55 Cancri A, plus two planets around its red dwarf companion 55 Cancri B.
