Key facts and history

The word "creampie" derives from a comparison to a cream pie filled with custard, similar to an orifice filled with semen.[2] Creampie scenes depart from heterosexual pornographic convention by mimicking ordinary-life sexual activity more closely.[3] They have been called the "counterimage" of facials, which are a common heterosexual pornographic convention.[3] In bareback gay pornography, internal ejaculations followed by semen dripping from the anus are called breeding or the reverse money shot.[4]

Early pornographic films did not include internal ejaculation shots, which are a more recent innovation.[2] Since around the year 2000, creampie scenes have become a widely produced subgenre in heterosexual pornography.[3] To simulate or improve creampie shots, some pornographic films employ an artificial semen substitute.[3]
