Ban

Ban is the Fox Sin of Greed in The Seven Deadly Sins, with a fox mark on his left waist. He became immortal after drinking from the Fountain of Youth and is a famed bandit despite his good nature, raised to steal by Zhivago. Twenty years before the story he sought the fountain, but gave up when its guardian Elaine told him the forest would die if he drank. They fell in love over seven days and were both gravely wounded by a red demon; Elaine saved him by passing the fountain's water to him in a kiss, and with her last strength gave him a seed that he grows into a new Sacred Tree. Liones jailed him for the fountain's destruction and Elaine's death, and after surviving many executions he was recruited by Meliodas. After the Sins disbanded he let himself be held in Baste Dungeon, slipping out to tend the tree, and later rejoins the group as cook of the Boar Hat.
