Reader's Guide
The 49ers' five Super Bowl wins are tied for the most of any NFC team.
All five came under owner Edward J. DeBartolo Jr., whose 23-year ownership began in 1977. The run of five wins in 14 seasons placed the 49ers alongside Vince Lombardi's Packers of the 1960s and Chuck Noll's Steelers of the 1970s among the modern NFL's great dynasties.
