History

Werq the World rescheduled its October 2017 Houston stop because of Hurricane Harvey's devastation. The tour returned to Houston on February 7, 2018, and the queens donated to the Montrose Center's LGBTQ Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, with Voss Events matching the donation. In May 2019, World of Wonder released a 10-episode docuseries directed by Jasper Rischen that followed the 2018 European leg, each episode profiling a different queen. A second season began streaming in June 2020.

The spring 2020 European leg was moved to spring 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On December 20, 2022, the 2023 Europe leg dates were announced, running October 27 to November 14, with additional dates added on March 6, 2023. The 2025 Europe leg was announced on November 12, 2024, for April 6 to April 18, and the 2025 North American leg includes 40 shows from August 15 through October 25. On May 21, 2026, the 2027 North American leg was announced for the tour's tenth anniversary.
