Format

Over two seasons, this spin-off has brought in celebrities to transform into drag performers for charity, guided by former contestants from the main RuPaul's Drag Race franchise, who serve as "Queen Supremes." The first season ran as a series of standalone episodes, each pitting three celebrities against one another in popular challenges from the original show. Every episode featured both a mini and a maxi challenge, ending with a lip sync battle to pick the winner.

The second season shifted to a longer format centered entirely on lip syncs, borrowing some ideas from The Masked Singer. It started with nine contestants, each hidden behind a drag persona. In each episode, they perform a solo lip sync for the judges and a live audience. The two weakest performers then face off in a "Lip Sync for Your Life," where the loser is sent home and must unmask.

The final celebrity standing takes home $100,000 for their charity. The same panel of judges—RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, and Ross Mathews—presides over every episode.
