Jellyfish
A drifting monster that explodes when it reaches you.
The Jellyfish is a flying monster that returns in Risk of Rain 2. It spawns at the edges of an environment, hangs in place, and drifts toward a target once it notices one. When close enough it glows and detonates in a large burst of electricity.
Background
The self-detonation hits hard in a wide radius, and a Jellyfish that blows itself up gives no gold. A heavy enough single hit stuns it and can interrupt the explosion.
